Learn to Dive
Harlow Sub-Aqua Club is part of the British Sub-Aqua Club formed in 1953 with branches throughout the United Kingdom. Unlike other agencies such as P.A.D.I., branches offer a club environment where members meet weekly for training and social get togethers in a welcoming and trendy environment.
The ‘Ocean Diver’ course if for beginners with little or no previous experience although sometimes it is recommended to join a ‘try dive’ experience session first (click here for details) before booking the full training course.
The ‘Ocean Diver’ qualification is recognised throughout the world and allows diving to a depth of 20 metres (see diving courses for more advanced course). The course takes place over a maximum of 12 weeks including pool and open water sessions, lecture studies, culminating in practical and theory tests. The course is run by friendly, qualified instructors, often on a one to one basis with the emphasis on safety.
The cost of the course is currently in the region of £275 and includes all equipment for pool training, Harlow and B.S.A.C. membership for 12 months, pool fees, lecture studies and training materials. Click here to contact us for the next course.
