Q:  What is the cost of training?

A:   The basic Ocean Diver training programme cost is currently £275.00 but to get the best from training students should invest in their own basic equipment such as a shortie wet suit for comfort, fins, mask and weights.  The club provide most of the main items of equipment within the cost of the course, although a warmer dive suit, such as a semi-dry or dry suit might be advisable when completing the training in open water environments.  After completing pool training there are additional costs gaining access to inland open water sites where training needs to be completed, but the entry fees are usually no more than £10/£15 per day.  This cost increases to approximately £40/£50 per day when joining a dive boat for offshore diving.
