Meet The Committee Members...

We are an elected committee representing all HSAC members. 

We meet on the first Monday of every month at 8pm to discuss all aspects of the club.

To raise a matter at any of the meetings just contact any one of the committee members below.

Chairman - Jim Ridings

Jim oversees all committee meetings. 

Treasurer - Jon Robertson

Jon is responsible for bringing the latest accounts to every committee meeting. He collects the pool entrance fees each week. 

Diving Officer - Alan Harman

Alan overseas all diving within HSAC - whether that's by going on the dives or just helping to organise them. With Jim he plans training sessions at the Dive Studio and he often books hardboat dives and diving from the club RIB. He even won BSAC's Volunteer of the Year Award in 2009 for his dedication to the club.

Training Officer - Roy White

Roy White looks after all trainees when they join the club, with the help of a loyal band of instructors. He instructs and teaches theory lessons and ask anyone... quite frankly he's a jolly nice bloke! If you are struggling to grasp diving skills he has the patience to help you master them.

Equipment Officer - Stuart Crump

Stuart mans the compressor hut on pool nights and other nights subject to prior arrangement. He fills members' tanks and logs all equipment on hire. He also ensures all equipment is kept in test and oversees the maintenance of the compressor. 

Secretary - Tracy Crump

Tracy takes and distributes the minutes of each committee meeting, plus other meetings where notes are deemed necessary. She also sends out any club-related correspondence to external bodies and keeps members updated on club news.

Social Secretary - Lorna Crump

Lorna is responsible for arranging social events from ten pin bowling to club meals. She also organises fund-raising events, which have included abseiling down Church Langley Water Tower and collecting entrance fees at Harlow College Car Park.

General Committee Member - Lynda Westall

Lynda, although she doesn't have a specific role on the committee, plays an important part in helping to shape the future of the club. 

General Committee Member - Bob Mead

Bob also doesn't have a defined role on the committee, but like Lynda he also helps to make important decisions.
