Harlow Sub Aqua Club

Decompression Chamber visit

DRY diving is a fun and safe way to experience nitrogen narcosis at 40m. The Decompression Chamber at Whipps Cross at the University Hospital in Leytonstone is the perfect environment to test your ability at depth in a safe and water-free environment.

Harlow Sub Aqua Club has booked eight spaces (maximum number) on the ‘dive’ on Saturday 19th November. During the event divers will have the chance to perform tasks to test their level of impairment caused by narcosis and to tour the facility.
The event is not only a chance to enable you to familiarise yourself with the hyperbaric facilities available, the procedures and hazards associated with the chamber, but all the money helps to sustain the valuable facility.

Places on this ‘dive,’ which lasts between three and four hours, cost £35.
Divers must be aged 16 and will be required to complete a health questionnaire. If you have any queries check out http://www.londonhyperbaric.com/dry-dives

For more information or to book your place please contact Tracy on 07736300799 or e-mail tracyhubbarduk@yahoo.co.uk. After 21st September the dive will be opened up to other clubs and the £35 must be paid up front.
