Guildenburgh Lake 14th Aug 2011
HSAC club visited Gildenburgh Lake as an alternative to Selsey which was blown out because of the weather. The weather was just right on the shore was warm and dry as we got there early managed to find a good place to kit up and chill out between dives. It was Lesley's first Open Water experience with her instructor Alan which she tells me was a good experience. As she was in the shallow areas she probably got a better view of the lake than we did going to the deeper depths cos the water was very murky about 1 mtr at best was mine and my buddy Paul's experience, low viz dive to be signed of. Monica and John enjoyed the second dive saw loads of fish they finned round the lake in the shallower waters and came across a large shoal of fish she was so excited about it. Lorna, Anthony and Jon dived as a group of three and enjoyed their dives and day also. Lovely Lizzie was shore cover for the day enjoying soaking all the sunshine while watching us getting exhausted kitting up. what a fun day on the way home 2pm for a relaxing afternoon and evening.
