Ocean Diver Training
As with all training in the SAC, the course is designed to progressively build on your skill and confidence base as safely as possible.
- The course comprises a combination of classroom lessons, pool/sheltered water lessons and open water lessons/dives. If it is not clear where and when training sessions will take place and what the kit arrangements are that your Branch or School utilises for training sessions, please discuss this with your branch.
- Your commitment to the Ocean Diver Training programme is important to enable it to run smoothly for yourself, other students and particularly the instructors.
- An important element of the course is self-study using the Student Notes provided in the 'Training Pack' together with a diving manual for reference purposes so please continue to study them throughout the course.
- Once you have qualified as an Ocean Diver you can progress with further training.
If you wish to discuss any training please contact the club either by the contact us form or by telephone stated on the Contact us page.
We look forward to welcoming you to our club in the near future.
