Q:  I am already a qualified diver – What further training do I need?

A:  There are recognised cross over qualifications when divers qualified elsewhere, wish to join other agencies.  For example PADI Open Water/Advanced = BSAC Ocean Diver, but extra training is given under BSAC to bring the two qualifications in line where necessary.  It is not necessary for qualified divers to join the BSAC foundation course from scratch, but skill and competency levels need to be aligned, as BSAC Clubs operate a “buddy pairs” diving system.  The cost associated with extra training is minimal, but membership of Harlow SAC and BSAC is necessary.
