The club welcomes divers previously trained by recognised organisations, whether recreational, commercial or military.
You can dive with us on your existing qualifications (some qualifications require a short “crossover” course), or work towards your next qualification within the BSAC syllabus.
BSAC qualifications are accepted by all recognised organisations and dive centres around the world.
They are interchangeable with other recognised organisations around the world, like PADI, CMAS, SSI and others.
Qualified divers wishing to join us to come diving should:
- Come down to meet us one Wednesday night and join the club
- Present your diving qualifications and logbooks to our Diving Officer
- Our Diving Officer will then consult the ‘similarity table’ and identify the appropriate BSAC grade to accept you into the club and any “crossover” training required
- Come diving with us!
